Thieves in Castle Pines Stole Cards & Charged $13k in 2.5 Hours

It was broad daylight and Bill Carlson and his wife became victims. The thieves walked into their open garage and took credit cards from a purse left in their unlocked car. The victims were mere feet away in the house when the brazen crooks stole their credit cards, leaving the purse in the car.

Within 2.5 hours, they had walked into Target in Castle Rock and then began charging $13,000 worth of charges between Castle Rock Target and 3 other Targets stores in Centennial, Greenwood Village and Lone Tree.

The thieves were captures on surveillance cameras at the stores – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help identifying these thieves from surveillance footage at Target Stores. They were also seen driving what appears to be a black Chevrolet sedan
