The British newspaper The Mirror is reporting that Taylor Swift’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked.

The article is quoted by ESET in their We Live Security Blog – which goes on to report that Taylor Swift’s Twitter account is the 4th most popular account in the World, and she had discovered that her account was hacked – possibly by LizardSquad (as reported by The Guardian). The hacking group was previously known for DDoS attacks on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
The hackers initially claimed to have naked pictures of Taylor Swift, but those tweets have subsequently been removed by twitter as they locked + secured the account while attempting to determine how the hacks occurred.
